Mirror

Mirrors were said to reflect the source of the self and were treated as sacred objects. The origins of the mirror can be traced back to a water mirror reflected in the water surface. The rippling surface of the water rises up three-dimensionally and reflects light, and when you get closer and look into it, your face is reflected in a distorted way. Still, you recognize that it is you. A series of works that trace back to the roots of self-awareness by distorting the real world of reflection.
